We are housed in a Victorian building that has been extensively extended and improved over the last 3 years. We have worked hard to make sure that the building is a bright and welcoming learning environment. The school is set in very large and beautiful grounds which have also been recently developed to make them a useful and enjoyable place to relax, play and learn. Children enjoy the variety of wildlife that inhabits the school grounds.
We teach the children in mixed age classes. For English and maths the school is split into 3 teaching groups, this helps to keep the teacher : pupil ratio at around 1:15.
We have a range of extra-curricular activities in school which, in the last 12 months, have included: cricket, athletics, cooking, art, multi-sport, music, drama and computers.
We would encourage any prospective parents to make an appointment to visit the school with the school office. It is best if you find a time when the whole school is working in class so you can pick up the special ‘buzz’ which is Stoke Ash Community Primary School
